Public Employee Choice Act

In 2013, a group of Oregonians began gathering support for what they called the Public Employee Choice Act. If approved by voters, the law would have allowed Oregon’s public employees to opt out of joining a union without financial penalties or having to still pay union dues. The measure was withdrawn by its sponsors in March 2014.
